Justice M.C.B Maphalala as oftenly refered was sworn in to the Highest Bench of the land yesterday Morning in the Chief Justice chambers alongside the Acting Judge of the Industrial Court, Justice Thulani Dlamini. His promotion comes after the retirement of Former Judge of the Supreme Court , His Lordship Justice Foxcroft on the last session of the Supreme Court which was held in MAY.
Maphalala is the first Swazi Judge to be permanently appointed to position of Supreme court Judge. He was sworn in by the Honourable Chief Justice and is expected to make his first official sitting on the oncoming session of the supreme court scheduled for the 1st of November to the 31st November 2011. Justice Dlamini resumed his duties immediately after being sworn in by the Chief Justice as the Acting Judge of The Industrial Court.
